2014 Bridge Conference: Making Learning Personal – Registration Now Open!
by School's Out Washington | | Posted under
The Bridge Conference is returning to the University of Washington Husky Union Building on October 27-28, 2014. Registration for our two-day, jam-packed conference is now open.
Our theme, Making Learning Personal, emphasizes that meaningful learning is ignited by personal passion and supports social-emotional learning as well as building competency in academics. Sessions will focus on how educators can connect to students as individuals, nurture their interests, and support cognitive and social-emotional development.
As always, and a hallmark of the Bridge Conference, we will present cutting-edge research, resources and strategies relevant to strengthening the services that youth (in grades K-12) receive both in and out of school. Content areas such as STEM, Racial Equity, Common Core, Summer Learning and Family Engagement will be featured, and much more!
Are you interested in presenting? We are now accepting request for proposals (RFP) to lead a workshop at our conference. If you are interested, take a look at the RFP for more information, and please feel free to pass along the link to others that you think might be interested. Deadline for submission is May 1st.
